Purpose

The fungicide is intended for the protection of winter and summer rape, winter and summer rapeseed and oilseed radish against white (sclerotic) rot, black spot (alternariosis), powdery mildew.

Method of activity

Mefentrifluconazole blocks the biosynthesis of ergosterol and thus stops the growth of the fungal cell membrane. Mefentrifluconazole is effective against many fungal diseases at various stages of their growth, both on the surface of the leaves and inside the leaves. The active substance that is applied onto the surface of rapeseed leaves and stems is absorbed very quickly and slowly transported by water vessels to the upper parts of the plant. Boskalid blocks the growth of pathogenic fungi, stopping the production of energy resources and thus preventing the chemical synthesis of other important cell parts. Boscalid moves acropetally (from bottom to top) and translaminarly in the plant, i.e. penetrates from one side of the leaf to the other. Due to these properties, even the unsprayed parts of the plant are protected.
